This time around Holbrook Pickleball had Pierce Tews editing the video and shooting the cinematography. I used his ARRI footage to match the look of his final grade and lighting in the 3D scenes, and developed a custom holographic material shader to present the unique inner core elements of the ARMA series paddle. I also created a unique shader for the metallic variation of the paddle that would enhance the realism of the close up shots like the flyover. For this project I also opted to use Eevee for the render engine, which significantly reduced the render time for the project.
DCC Used: Blender 4.2 LTS, Eevee Render and DaVinci Resolve Studio 19
Workstation: Windows 11, i9 11900K, 64GB RAM, RTX 3090 24GB VRAM
Custom Assets: Using reference imagery supplied by Holbrook I created all 3D paddle models and material shaders for this project.
