Lost Pilot - VFX Shot - July 5th-7th, 2026
Inspiration came in the form of the image's composition, "A wide shot of a beaten-down man standing at the foot of a burning, ship wreckage," in which I blocked out and began kitbashing to find something that fit the mood I was looking for. Final Pixel was achieved within 3 days from start to finish.
This is part of new initiative I am implementing to keep the sword sharp and expand the portfolio in an accelerated manner. Create a series of 3D animations and VFX shots every 3-4 days and post a fully transparent breakdown the day after completion. Each week this allows me to present new skill sets I have acquired over the last couple years and truly streamline my workflow for client projects and short films moving forward. Perfection is not the goal. Efficiency, volume and repetition are the key pieces to this exercise.
